The methodological recommendations discuss the possibility of using alternative methods, excluding the use of animals, when studying general pathophysiology. The publication is based on the long-term pedagogical experience provided by the staff of the Pathophysiology Department of Donetsk National Medical University, named after M. Gorky. It corresponds to the main sections of general pathophysiology; promotes better assimilation of theoretical provisions, practical skills in the study of the general doctrine of disease, individual factors of external and internal environment.'
The methodological recommendations are supplemented by CD with simulator programs of the main experimental models of pathological processes: barotrauma, barriers, anaphylactic shock, microcirculation disorders, phagocytosis, fever, edema, starvation.Recommended for training doctors of general medicine in all specialties for practical classes and independent topics.
The need for ethical methodological recommendations, especially in the training of doctors, is apparent. The current guidelines represent a revised section of general pathophysiology. It includes this booklet and an electronic version on DVD. The text version contains several modules on the main issues of the Pathophysiology subject program.
The theoretical material is presented schematically. The practical part includes virtual laboratory works and practical tasks of clinical orientation; materials for self-control with tasks of increasing complexity.
